Pay any business bill by credit card

Your landlord. Your equipment dealer. Your subcontractor. Your insurer. The permit office. Most of them will only take a check or a bank transfer, and none of them will take your card.

Put the bill on your card anyway. They get paid the way they already get paid, and you earn on money you were spending regardless.

“PayRewards solved a lot of things for us - cashflow being number one. Now I can upload all my payments at once and know they’ll be paid in two business days. It’s easier, our Vendors are happy, and we’re unlocking travel rewards we’d never have paid for out of pocket.”

Which business bills can you pay with a credit card?

Almost any of them, and the business you are paying does not have to accept cards.

You charge your Visa, Mastercard or American Express. PayRewards pays the other party by ACH, domestic wire or paper check, whichever they already take. The money arrives in their own bank account like any other transfer. They do not need a PayRewards account and nothing changes at their end.

Rent, supplier invoices, subcontractors, insurance premiums, permits, software renewals, advertising spend, vehicle costs and membership fees all go on a card this way. So do business taxes.

It is the payment you were making anyway. The difference is that it now earns your card’s points, and PayRewards Points on top.

Start with the bill in front of you

Twelve of the places a business hands money over every month. Pick the one you’re paying.

The list isn’t exhaustive. If they take a check or a bank transfer, you can usually put it on a card: landlords, wholesalers, trade suppliers, government offices, professional firms. See who you can pay →

Three steps, one charge on your card

  1. Add the payee

For ACH or a wire, you’ll need their routing number, account number and account type. For a check, just their mailing address. You enter it once and it’s saved.

  2. Charge your card

Choose your points tier at checkout.

  3. We pay them

By ACH, domestic wire or paper check. Most payments land in 1 to 2 business days. A check takes 4 to 7. See payment processing times →

Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Whatever your card earns today, it earns on this. Your points, your miles, your cashback, your program. We don’t touch it and we don’t replace it.

PayRewards Points on top

A second currency on the same payment. Pick the tier that suits how much you spend and how hard you want it working. Transfer them to an airline, spend them on gift cards, pass them to your team, or put them against your next invoice.

Your card’s billing cycle, working for you

  1. Today, you pay the bill

Charge it to your card. We pay your payee by ACH, wire or check. Most payments land in 1 to 2 business days. A check takes 4 to 7.

    Up to 55 days

  2. When your card is due, your cash leaves

Up to 55 days later, on your own cycle. That is your card issuer’s billing cycle, not credit from PayRewards.

What it costs

The fee buys you two things: a payment your payee will actually accept, and points on money that earned you nothing before.

Pick your tier when you pay. It applies to that payment, not to a plan.

FAQs

Does my vendor need a PayRewards account?

No. They receive an ACH deposit, a domestic wire or a check, into the same bank account they already use. There’s nothing for them to sign up to and no fee on their side. If you turn on remittance advice, they get an email once the payment is processed with the bill details and the amount.

What if my vendor charges a surcharge for cards?

It doesn’t come up. Your vendor isn’t being paid by card. We pull the funds from your card and deliver by ACH, domestic wire or check, so the surcharge you’d meet at their own card terminal doesn’t apply.

Can I pay an international supplier?

Not yet. PayRewards pays domestic suppliers only. If the business you’re paying banks outside the US, this isn’t the right tool for that payment.

Is there a limit on how much I can pay?

No. There’s no cap on the amount, as long as it’s a legitimate business payment. What you can charge in practice is whatever your card allows.

Can I set up a payment that repeats every month?

Yes. Go to Make a Payment, choose Vendor Payment, enter the details, select Recurring and pick monthly. Set a start date and an end date up to 12 months out. Recurring payments are funded by credit or debit card only.

Can someone else pay on my behalf?

Yes, depending on how they’re set up. Account owners and administrators can import bills from QuickBooks and pay them. Connecting and managing the integration itself is limited to account owners. Anyone set up as a user rather than an administrator may not have access.
