Running a supply chain business means a lot of money moves very fast. You’re fronting cash for large product orders, covering warehouse costs before goods have even left the building, and managing a steady stream of invoices from manufacturers, service providers, and government agencies alike. That’s a lot of expenses before it’s even an option to make a sale.
PayRewards gives businesses one platform to handle all of it. Pay with any major credit card, and earn rewards on every eligible dollar going out.
Put every expense to work
Stock purchases are usually a vendor’s biggest expense, but there are many others that can easily put a strain on cash flow. With PayRewards, you can earn points on invoice payments across your full range of business expenses. Whether you’re paying for the stock orders that keep your shelves full, the rent, utilities, or payroll, you can run that expense through PayRewards and earn additional points.
You can earn PayRewards Points on top of your regular card rewards, so every eligible payment earns two fronts. There’s no cap on the PayRewards Points you can accumulate, and flexible redemption options. You can transfer points to airline and hotel partners, pay down an invoice, or redeem them across 100+ gift card brands. You decide how every point get used.
Paying by credit card can also extend your business’s cash flow. Depending on your card issuer, you may have up to 55 days before repayment comes due, giving you time to sell through stock and collect revenue before the bill arrives.
What vendor expenses can I pay with PayRewards?
Most regular business expenses qualify! Some of the most common expense categories vendors on the platform include:
Stock and inventory
Whether you sell apparel, homewares, electronics, or specialty food and beverage, your stock purchasing is where the most capital moves. With PayRewards, you can pay vendors with a credit card even when they only accept ACH or bank transfer. We process the payment and deliver funds to their account on their usual terms.
On a $50,000 stock order at the Premium Tier, that’s 100,000 PayRewards Points earned on top of your full card rewards. Paying an invoice with a credit card may also give you up to 55 days before repayment comes due depending on your card issuer, letting you sell through inventory before the bill lands. For vendors moving significant volume, credit card points on business expenses can add up quickly.
Storage and warehousing
Inventory needs a home before it reaches a customer. Whether you lease a dedicated warehouse, a shared fulfillment space, or storage above your retail floor, those costs need to be paid every month regardless of what’s selling.
Commercial landlords and storage operators often don’t accept credit cards directly. PayRewards bridges the gap. You can pay your lease with the card of your choice and earn points on every payment. A $2,500 monthly storage bill generates 30,000 PayRewards Points a year at the Standard Tier, or 60,000 at Premium, on top of your regular card earnings.
Equipment and renovations
Retail and storage operations need more than space. Shelving, display units, point-of-sale systems, packing equipment, and the occasional renovation aren’t typically ongoing expenses. But they need to be covered more regularly than you think.
With PayRewards, capital purchases and contractor invoices can all be paid by card through the platform. You earn credit card points on the vendor payment regardless of how your contractor or equipment supplier prefers to be paid.
Marketing and advertising
Growing a customer base costs money. Digital advertising, print, events, agency fees, and platform subscriptions are all legitimate business expenses. And with PayRewards, they all earn points.
Pay your marketing invoices through the platform using any major credit card and add to your rewards balance with every campaign you run.
Insurance
Vendors typically carry multiple policies: general liability, commercial property, cargo, and workers’ compensation at minimum. Annual premiums across those policies can run well into five figures, and they tend to renew all at once.
PayRewards accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for insurance payments, letting you consolidate all your premiums into one platform and earn points on the full amount.
Payroll and IRS payments
Payroll is one of the most consistent large expenses a vendor faces, and with PayRewards, it earns. Run payroll through the platform using Visa, Mastercard, or ACH, and every pay cycle adds to your rewards balance. A business paying $40,000 a month in wages is moving nearly half a million dollars a year through that single expense category alone.
Note: Amex is not eligible for payroll payments. Visa, Mastercard, and bank account transfers all qualify.
Federal and state tax payments can also be made through PayRewards using a credit card. Your IRS obligations become another earning opportunity rather than just a cost.
A small number of payment types are excluded. Check the full list on the Payment Rules and Regulations page.
All your expenses, one platform
Whether you run a single storefront or manage inventory across multiple channels, PayRewards gives you a single platform to pay every eligible vendor expense and earn on every transaction.
