“PayRewards solved a lot of things for us - cashflow being number one. Now I can upload all my payments at once and know they’ll be paid in two business days. It’s easier, our Vendors are happy, and we’re unlocking travel rewards we’d never have paid for out of pocket.”

PayRewards vs. Plastiq: your questions

How is PayRewards different from Plastiq?

Both let you pay vendors by card, even when they don’t take cards. PayRewards adds its own points program: earn 1 or 2 PayRewards Points per $1 on card and ACH payments, and keep 100% of your card’s points.

Is the PayRewards card fee really lower?

Yes, on card payments. The card service fee is 2.9% on PayRewards and 2.99% on Plastiq, so a $15,000 payment costs $435 instead of $448.50. Add Core (1.75%) or Plus (3.25%) on any payment to earn PayRewards Points on top.

Will my card code PayRewards payments as purchases?

Your card issuer decides how each transaction is coded, so we can’t guarantee it. Make a small test payment first and check how it appears on your statement.

What bills can I pay?

Vendor invoices, contractors, business rent, equipment, insurance, and permits and licenses. Some categories are restricted, so check the payment rules before you pay.

Can I pay personal bills?

No. PayRewards is for business payments only. You need an active business with an EIN to sign up.

How fast do vendors get paid?

Most payments land in 1 to 2 business days. A mailed check takes 4 to 7 business days.

What can I redeem PayRewards Points for?

Transfer to airline partners, pay your next vendor invoice with points, claim from 100+ gift cards, or request a custom redemption, from tech and golf clubs to a Rolex. You can also gift points to your team.
